Fake ID use in Stoke-on-Trent

“The use of fake IDs at pubs and clubs is being tackled in an initiative across Stoke-on-Trent.
The awareness operation involves the Nightlife Partnership, which includes businesses and agencies such as the police and city council.”
They go on to say that ID cards will be seized and advice is given to the users of the cards. Trading standards will look to take action again the supplier of the cards. The organisers say that following discover of the cards they will inform parents. They also added that there are consequences to the licensees and staff if they allow people in with the fake ID. A full evaluation is then due to take place.
